ప్రఖ్యాత బైబిల్ బోధకుడు సోదరుడు ప్రకాష్ గంటెల గారు 15 ఆగస్టు 2025 న ప్రభువునందు నిద్రించారు. ఆయన గత కొంతకాలంగా కిడ్నీ సంబంధిత ఇన్ఫెక్షన్ తో బాధపడుతున్నారు. ఇన్ఫెక్షన్ తీవ్రమై తొడ, తుంటి భాగాలకు చేరి అత్యవసర చికిత్స పొందుతూ మృతిచెందారు.
ఈయన దక్షిణ భారతదేశంలోని గుంటూరుకు చెందినవారు. ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ఆంధ్ర క్రైస్తవ కళాశాలలో చదువుకున్న తర్వాత, ఆయన ఎవాంజెలికల్ యూనియన్తో దాని అధికారిక పత్రిక విద్యార్థి జ్వాల సంపాదకుడిగా 13+ సంవత్సరాలు పనిచేశారు. ఆయన RZIM లైఫ్ ఫోకస్ సొసైటీతో అనుబంధం కలిగి ఉన్నారు మరియు దాని జాతీయ అధ్యాపకుడిగా పనిచేశారు.

Brother. Prakash Gantela passed away
Reputed Bible preacher Brother Prakash Gantela passed away on 15 August 2025. He had been suffering from a kidney infection for some time. The infection had spread to his thigh and hip and he passed away while undergoing emergency treatment.
He hailed from Guntur in South India. After studying at the prestigious Andhra Christian College, he worked with the Evangelical Union as the editor of its official magazine Vidyarthi Jwala for 13+ years. He was associated with the RZIM Life Focus Society and served as its national faculty.
He has addressed hundreds of university students and debated with atheists and religious leaders advocating for the Christian faith. He is the co-founder of the Christian Thinkers Forum and the Sprapa Foundation. For many years, he taught English and communication skills to professional students and founded a school for holistic education. Currently, he serves as the founding director of Veritas Bible Institute.
